Confrontation

Permanent collection State Museum, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania “Confrontation,” explores the moment in a relationship when discussion of a problem fails. The cause and solutions race through each others minds with no verbal escape. Each second of silence makes tensions grow and only enhances the problem. Even though the two people seem to have similar interests, there are subtle underlying differences. Traditional symbols and icons give clues to these differences and shed some light on the cause of the confrontation.
