HornÃ MarÅ¡ov in the Czech Republic in the depths of winter; with the winter light bleaching the colours almost to monotone. The artist has used transparent paint to build layers gradually, adding to the misty atmosphere. Footprints in the snow suggest recent activity in the deserted village.
