Contest overview:

There's no theme for this contest; we're not looking for one piece of art to fit a narrow concept. We want to see a body of work. We are interested in an original vision and strong execution. We're interested in your career.

Set up at least one gallery with 5 or more artworks on PRZM (free for duration of contest) where we can view your work. Create a bio page (picture would be nice) so we know something about you and your art. Of course we encourage you to create a full site with all the bells and whistles. Our panel of judges will view and choose the winning art through the artist's PRZM galleries it's that simple!

PRZM tools are easy to use: setting up a site will only take a few minutes. No credit card info will be needed unless you decide to stay with PRZM.

Accepted Media:
Painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, digital and mixed media are eligible. All submitted artwork must be available for sale on PRZM as original art and/or prints (using PRZM prints-on-demand: we take care of printing and shipping).

Top prize winners must be able to submit a digital file (300-dpi hi-resolution) image for the Juxtapoz print ad(s).

The rules:

• The contest is open to all visual artists worldwide (professional & amateur) above the age of 18.
• You certify that your art is your original work and you are the sole and exclusive owner of all rights to your work and that you have the unrestricted right to submit work to the contest.
• PRZM shall have the right to display and reproduce winning art for promotional purposes in both printed and or electronic form.
• The artists will get credit and be promoted via PRZM, Juxtapoz magazine & Juxtapoz.com. PRZM will also promote the winning artists via newsletters, email, social media marketing and elsewhere as PRZM deems appropriate.
• By creating a free PRZM website as a condition for entry to the contest, you, the artist, agree to the Terms & Conditions as set by Artspan LLC, parent company of PRZM.com.
• You agree not to show frames or watermark on art that you upload to your website.
• Submission of work to this competition signifies acceptance of all above stated conditions.

JUDING IS BASED ON THE FolLOWING CRITERIA:

The artwork submitted to our competitions will be judged based on the following two elements of artistic expression:

• Originality of vision and art.
• Command of the medium.

File Prep:

• 72 dpi or more with 1200 pixels minimum width and height.

WINNER NOTIFICATION:

• Every artist whose artwork is chosen will receive email notification. Winners will also be announced via PRZM social media.
• Cash prizes can be paid through Paypal or by check mailed to the winner within 14 days of notification of winning.
• Art supply e-cards will be e-mailed within 14 days of notification of winning.
• Free websites will be applied to the winners' PRZM accounts.
